Visit Midway Mall, Midway Atoll, Northwestern Hawaiian Islands
Another Kahn design, it was under construction during the Battle of Midway, the theater was completed in 1944. The mall was renovated in the 1960s when the library and breezeway connecting the buildings were added. During World War II, the theater hosted a variety of USO shows and the sailors and marines entertained themselves with talent shows.
