Visit Mohave Point, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
If it's sunset/sunrise time and Hopi Point is too crowded, head to Mohave Point, another spectacular point for watching a sunset and sunrise. Mohave Point also offers views of the Colorado River deep in the canyon below. It's along Hermit Road on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.
The Abyss is 1.1 miles (1.8 km) west from here on a dirt trail.
Hopi Point is 0.8 miles (1.3 km) east from here on a dirt trail.
