Montélimar is a town in the Drôme department in southeastern France. Some of the sites include the Pont d'Arc, the cabinet of natural history, the medieval village of Poet-Laval, miniature Provencal village, the palace of sweets and nougat, the crocodile farm.
Montélimar is widely regarded as the world capital of nougat. The local nougat is one of the 13 desserts of Provence and highly appreciated throughout the country.
