See View from Mount Victoria (Wellington), New Zealand
Mount Victoria, als known as Mt. Vic, is a prominent hill (height 196 metres) to the east of the centre of Wellington, New Zealand.
The full 360-degree view is a great place to see the the airport, the harbor and the Town Belt with just a turn of the head. It takes about an hour to walk up from Courtenay Place. Many tourist buses go there but also a lot of the locals, especially at night to 'watch the view'.
The 'Mushrooms' on top of Mount Victoria are in fact vents for a water pumping station.
