Visit Kalaniana'ole Beach Park (Nānākuli Beach), Oahu, Hawaii
Beautiful beach, especially during sunset. Lots of parking, restroom and shower. 5-10 minutes walk from Mermaid Coves. Nānākuli is 48 km (30 miles) away from Honolulu.
March 2016 it was announced that the original name of Nanakuli Beach Park will be restored. So this beach park is now called Kalaniana'ole Beach Park. Restoration of the park's original name was done on behalf of residents who expressed a desire to honor the late Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana'ole Pi'ikoi.
Waves can be big from December-January.
