Off-road to Nellie E Saloon (The Desert Bar), Parker, Arizona
Quirky, rustic watering hole, built on the site of a former mining camp. It can only be reached via a 5-mile bumpy dirt road. Bands perform through the day and the burgers are tender slabs of beef charred from the grill and seasoned with a fine spice of remoteness. Bring cash because they don’t accept credit cards.
It's only open weekends noon till sunset Oct–Apr.
