Visit Nelson Mandela Place, Glasgow, Scotland
Nelson Mandela Place is adjacent to Buchanan Street in Glasgow, Scotland. The South African consulate was on the fifth floor of the Glasgow Stock Exchange. The square, originally called St George's Place, the street was renamed Nelson Mandela Place in 1986, and the consulate set up a post office box number to avoid using the new address. The consulate was shut down in the early 1990s.
