Visit North Rim Lookout Tower, Grand Canyon National Park

The North Rim Lookout tower. Originally constructed in 1928, the CCC moved this tower to its current location at the north rim entrance in 1933. Four Grand Canyon fire lookouts were added in 2009 to the national historic lookout register. Access to this part of the park by car is seasonal, traditionally open from mid-May to mid-October or depending on snowcover from the previous winter.
