Nuraghe S'Ega Marteddu, Sant'Antioco Island, Sardinia, Italy
View Original Description
The nuraghe S'Ega Marteddu is a fortress from the Nuragic period built on a hill a few metres from the beach of Maladroxia, on the island of Sant'Antioco. From the multi-tower nuraghe it is possible to control a good part of the Gulf of Palmas up to Capo Teulada. The nuraghe guarded the marine and coastal access to the south-western part of the island of Sant'Antioco.
