Visit Ocmulgee Mounds NHP Visitor Center, Georgia
There are plenty of indoor activites to explore inside our park visitor center! You can learn about the prehistoric peoples who lived here in the Macon Plateau thousands of years ago in the visitor center rotunda. Our museum has 2,000 artifacts on display dating from 10,000 B.C.E-1800's. There is also a 17-minute orientation film on the history of the park available for viewing upon request.
