Ocotillo Patch is a 30-minute drive from Cottonwood Campground. The ocotillo plant (Fouquieria splendens) is desert shrub that produces bright pink flowers on whip-like canes. The roadside stand of ocotillo that put on a dramatic floral display after even a light rainstorm.
