Ölkelda is a town within Staðará in Staðarsveit Snæfellsbær, about 13 km west of Vegamót, where you turn to Stykkishólm. Ölkelduvatn Mineral Spring is where carbon dioxide (CO2) comes up with the ground water, naturally carbonated by volcanic activity.
