Panagia Kakaviotissa is a historic, roofless Greek Orthodox church built into a cave on Mount Kakavos on Lemnos Island, Greece, founded in 1416 to shelter monks from Turkish invasions. Famous for its striking, inaccessible location and the spectacular views it offers, the church is a popular hiking destination, requiring a 20-30 minute walk along a dirt path from the end of an asphalt road.
