Visit Parque Natural dos Caldeirões, São Miguel Island, Azores
The Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park is an Azorean protected area, located along part of the Ribeira dos Caldeirões watercourse, in the parish of Achada, municipality of Nordeste, on the island of São Miguel.
It is worth noting that in this natural park, which runs along the course of the river, there is a waterfall that supplies water to part of the park.
In this park there are old watermills, one of which houses an ethnographic museum.
The millers ' houses have been transformed into a craft shop and rural tourism. In this space there are cafeteria services, a picnic area and a children's playground.
