Offering the perfect respite, away from busy city life, the Parque Primo de Rivera is one of Zaragoza's premier parks and is vast and spreading. Situated in the La Romareda area of Zaragoza, the park features extensive botanical gardens, nature trails and flower borders. The park also offers a number of fountains, ponds, formal areas, an impressive waterfall, a range of recreational activities and secluded picnic spots. Standing at the end of the Avenida San Sebastian, the park's famous Monumento a Alfonso I can be found, an imposing marble monument to the King of Aragon.
