Visit Playa de los Genoveses, Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, Spain
Playa de los Genoveses is a beach in the municipality of Níjar, in the province of Almería within the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. Located in the Campillo del Genovés area, a valley with hardly any constructions and no paved roads that preserves beauty in its purest form. It is one of the best known and most appreciated on the Almería coast. This is recognized for being an unspoiled beach of fine golden sand dunes.
In the dunes of this beach, numerous films and television works have been shot, such as The Rat Patrol or The Wind and the Lion, even without going very far, what would have become of Peter O'Toole, who played Lawrence of Arabia, without the Playa de los Genoveses, in addition to programs such as El Campamento.
There is a bumker on the north side of the beach.
