Visit Playa de los Muertos (Beach of the Dead), Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, Spain
Playa de los Muertos is a beach on the Almería coast, located in the municipality of Carboneras, just over 5 km south of the town center. It owes its name to the frequency with which historically the corpses of shipwrecked or sailors washed up on its shores , carried away by the marine currents that converge on this site.
