Visit Playa de Mónsul, Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, Spain

The Mónsul cove beach, commonly known as Mónsul beach or simply Mónsul, is a beach in the province of Almería that is located in the municipality of Níjar, about 4 km from the center of the town of San José. It is one of the best known and most appreciated on the Almería coast. It is characteristic for its Peineta (rocky cliff in the shape of a wave crest) of volcanic origin created millions of years ago and its dune. In it, scenes from well-known films have been shot internationally such as: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, in the mythical scene in which Sean Connery destroys a Nazi plane scaring the seagulls with an umbrella, Marco Antonio and Cleopatra, La historia interminable, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Bwana, Talk to her, advertisements from the Junta de Andalucía, as well as the first video clip of David Bisbal Ave María or Tourner la page of the singer Zaho.
