Visit Polihue Beach, Lanai, Hawaii
Polihue Beach is located on the north shore of Lanai, Hawaii. This long and wide white-sand beach stretches for more than 1.5 miles. Polihua means “egg nest” referring to the Hawaiian green sea turtles known to nest here. Swimming is not recommended due to not protectve reef and also it can get very windy here.
During the winter months this is a great place to see humpback whale since they often come very near to coast.
Take the Polihua Trail 4x4 road to reach the beach.
