Visit Pool of Arches, Ramla, Israel
The Pool of the Arches is the most important edifice dating from the reign of the Abas Caliphs in the Land of Israel. This pool was built as an enclosed water reservoir which appears to have been supplied from a small spring beneath it. Built in 789,Pool of Archesis an offbeat boating destination where visitors can board rowboats to explore the 1,200-year-old underground wonder.
