Visit Pôr-do-Sol Viewpoint, São Miguel Island, Azores
Pôr-do-Sol Viewpoint is at an altitude of 319 metres on the island of São Miguel, Azores. Located on the regional road ER1-1ª, in Lomba do Alcaide, in the parish of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, in the municipality of Povoação.
This viewpoint is a popular picnic spot, offering good conditions for barbecues, with the presence of a car park and toilet facilities. From this viewpoint, it is possible to see several landscapes of the region, including some hills of Povoação, the surrounding pastures, Ponta do Garajau and the fishing village of Ribeira Quente.
