Visit Reconstruction Era Visitor Center (Old Beaufort Firehouse), Beaufort, South Carolina
The Old Beaufort Firehouse (706 Craven Street) in downtown Beaufort, near other historically significant sites. The firehouse also is part of the 304-acre Beaufort National Historic District.
The visitor center contains exhibits and information about the Reconstruction era in the low country, as well as information about visiting the various units of the park.
