Visit Red Oak II, Carthage, Missouri
Red Oak II is located just a couple miles northeast of Carthage, and just off of Route 66. This idyllic small town seems to be untouched since the 1950s. In fact, every inch of the tiny village, from its retro diner to its dusty blacksmith shop, has been completely manufactured by the late Lowell Davis. He once grew up in the real Red Oak and but he came back in the 1980's if was adandoned. Davis purchased a piece of property about 20 miles from the OG site and began building.
