Red Rock's Miller Visitor Center includes exhibits and a park store. Inquire about the Junior Ranger and Junior Buddy programs available for children ages 4–12. There is also a movie theater that plays a short film on Sedona and the surrounding area. Movies play daily starting at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. with a special monthly theme video showing at 3 p.m. each day. The gift shop, located inside the Visitor Center, offers a wide selection of souvenirs, including t-shirts, magnets, walking sticks, books, maps, and postcards that highlight the Sedona area. Beverages and snacks are also for sale. Visit our online Gift Catalog to purchase select items. There are many educational opportunities found in the Miller Visitor Center. Our hands-on exhibits are based on the theme of biotic communities. The panels bring to life the variety of habitats found within the park. You will also find information on the early human inhabitants of the area as well as roving displays showing a wide selection of the park’s wildlife. We also have a movie theater at the park which shows “The Natural Wonders of Sedona: Timeless Beauty.” The 45-minute film plays on request and covers Sedona’s history and wildlife and takes you on a flying tour of the red rocks providing you with some phenomenal aerial scenes. This park has modern, handicap accessible restrooms located at the Visitor Center and the Twin Cypress group use area. Picnic tables and shelters are located in all of our group day use areas, all of which are subject to reservations. If not reserved these areas are open to the public on a first-come, first serve basis. Several uncovered picnic tables and barbecues are scattered throughout the field in the Twin Cypress area and are available for use even when the ramada areas are reserved.
