Roger’s Spring Picnic Area, Nevada
View Original Description
One of the easiest springs to access is Roger’s Spring. This spring along Northshore Road bubbles out of the side of a rock wall and spills into a man-made pond, which is knee-deep. A small creek flows out of the pond and winds underneath a wooden bridge--a good place to dip your toes. Keep in mind that Roger’s Spring is a cold spring, and not good for swimming. It’s more of a picnic place. And if that’s your sort of thing, with picnic tables surrounded by palm trees, it truly is an oasis in the desert.
