Roosevelt Point Trail is a short 0.2 mile (0.3 km) round-trip hiking trail along the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The trail is a secluded woodland loop with spectacular views.
It takes approximately 20 minutes round-trip hiking time.
The trailhead is about half way between Bright Angel Point and Cape Royal on the Walhalla Plateau (11.7 miles from the start of Cape Royal Road). '
Access to this part of the park by car is seasonal, traditionally open from mid-May to mid-October or depending on snowcover from the previous winter.
Roosevelt Point was dedicated in 1990 in honor of the 26th President who played an important role in creating the Park.
