Visit Round Mountain Fire Lookout, Arizona

The 35’ Aermotor MC30 tower with 7’x7’ metal cab on Round Mountain was originally constructed on Saddle Mountain on the Coconino National Forest in 1934. It was moved to its current location on the Kaibab National Forest in 1960 and modified with a side door replacing the customary trap door.
