Visit Shark Harbor Beach, Santa Catalina Island, California
Shark Harbor Beach is located 6 miles east of Cat Harbor on the backside (facing south) of Catalina Island. It has one of the best campgrounds on Santa Catalina Island. Little Harbor is adjacent to the south and the two beaches are separated by the "Whale Tail" rock.
It's unsafe to anchor here!
It's one of the only good surf spots on the island when the swell is right.
