Visit Solstice Clock, Nature’s Bridge to Discovery, Coronado, California
The Solstice Clock by Schmidt Design Group & Paul Hobson was installed in 1999 along the Nature’s Bridge to Discovery trail. Sunrise and sunset shine directly between the concrete blocks. The benches form a solstice clock twice a year, during the summer and winter solstices, thanks to a circle of benches built along the trail.
Be there for sunrise or sunset on December 21st or June 21st for a great shot.
