Tour The Kangaroo Sanctuary at Alice Springs, NT, Australia
The Kangaroo Sanctuary Alice Springs is a 188 acre wildlife sanctuary with rescued orphaned baby kangaroos and adult kangaroos. Thier mission is to educate and encourage people to rescue and care for kangaroos and other wildlife and animals. Our motto is Animals Come First.
Because kangaroos sleep during the day they don’t disturb them. This is why the guided tours are in the late afternoon…just when the kangaroos are starting to wake from their day-time sleep.
The Sanctuary can only be visited on a pre-booked guided sunset tour. We are open Tuesday to Friday for a guided sunset tour of about 2.5-3 hours. Bookings are essential (bus transfers included from most hotels/hostels/caravan parks). Tours are limited to 30. We recommend booking in advance because the tours sell out fast!
