Visit The Living Desert and Sculptures, Broken Hill, New South Wales

The Living Sculptures sanctuary. 12 kms outside of Broken Hill in the desert is the most amazing sculpture park. It was established in 1992. In 1993 fifty two tons of Wilcannia sandstone was moved there and in May a group of international sculptors arrived to sculpt iconic art work. The 12 sculptors came from across the world- Australia (5), Mexico (2), Georgia (3) and Syria (2).
