Visit The Odeon (Alderney), Channel Islands
During WWII Alderney was occupied by German forces who built hundreds of well-engineered concrete bunkers as part of their sea defense system. This MP3 five-story naval range finding tower, now known as 'The Odeon' is a fine example.
Take a walk up to see the imposing structure and enjoy spectacular views across the island to France.
