Visit The Sunken Cemetery, Camiguin Island, Philippines

In the 1870s, a cemetery and the town it served sank beneath the sea during the volcanic birth of Mt. Vulcan. In order to commemorate this place of loss, a looming cross was built in remembrance. The archaeological site has been declared as a National Cultural Treasure of the Philippines.
