Visit Tomba Dei Giganti su Niu 'e su Crobu, Sant'Antioco Island, Sardinia, Italy
The giants' tomb of Su Niu 'e Su Crobu (the crow's nest) is an archaeological site located in the municipality of Sant'Antioco.
The monument is located on an elevated rocky plain in the southern part of the Sulcis island, not far from the sea and the important Nuragic complex of Grutti 'e Acqua.
The tomb of the giants , dating back to the Middle-Recent Bronze Age, is built with blocks of trachyte . Of it, part of the long tomb body remains, without the linteled covering, and the so-called exedra , approximately 14 m wide.
The site was excavated in the summer of 1977 by archaeologist Vincenzo Santoni.
