Torre del Prezzemolo, an old coastal tower in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy.  It can be reached from the Sant'Elia village, along a dirt road. The tower, originally called "Capo Bernat tower" or "Cala Bernat" or "del Lazzaretto", has sixteenth-century origins . In 1638 it was decommissioned, following the construction of the nearby Calamosca tower. It was rearmed in the eighteenth century and in 1793 it played an important role in repelling the landing of the French. Subsequently the tower was once again and definitively decommissioned. Restoration work was carried out in 1916, while in 1967 the underlying rock was shored up with the construction of buttresses.
