Visit Towser Memorial, Crieff, Scotland
Towser, the cat in Scotland who caught a record-setting 28,899 mice. Owned by Glenturret Distillery Ltd near Crieff, Perth and Kinross, UK. She averaged three mice per day until her death on 20 March 1987. Towser lived for almost 24 years in Glenturret Distillery until she died in March 1987. She killed in excess of 28,000 mice, a world record.
This sculpture is on display at the Famous Grouse Experience, Crieff, Perthshire
