Tour the United Nations for a behind-the-scenes look at UN Headquarters and learn more about the UN's global impact. Guided tours only Mon-Fri. A one-hour guided tour offers an exciting opportunity to discover UN Headquarters. One of our multilingual Tour Guides will take you on a brief journey through the corridors of international diplomacy. You will learn about the history and work of the United Nations and visit the famous General Assembly Hall and Security Council Chamber (meetings permitting). Tours are offered in all six official languages of the United Nations (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish), as well as in additional languages in high demand. Tours in languages other than English may be available upon request. Please contact toursunhq@un.org for availability. Children below the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, children under 5 are not permitted on tour. The United Nations Headquarters is accessible for persons with disabilities or with a mobility impairment. Visitors may request the use of a wheelchair when checking in. Guided Tours are also offered at other United Nations Offices around the world, including  Geneva,  Nairobi  and  Vienna. Visitor Services provides ASL interpretation upon request. To arrange this service, please contact toursunhq@un.org at least 15 days prior to scheduling your visit to the UN.
