The Varma River is one of the top sea-trout rivers in Iceland in number of fish caught. The river is small and relatively easy to fish with abundant fishing spots. There is also large salmon, colourful char and huge brown trout. It is located near the small town of Hveragerdi some 30-40 mins drive from Reykjavik.
Season is April 1st to October 20th.
