Visit Whiskey Run Beach, Bandon, Oregon
Whiskey Run Beach is a wide, flat stretch of sand extending 2.5 miles between Merchant Beach and Bullard Beach. In 1851, gold was discovered at nearby Whiskey Run Beach by French Canadian trappers, though the gold rush did not have much of an impact on the area.
