White’s Landing & Buffalo Beach offers one of the nicest and most expansive beaches on Catalina Island. Located 3.5 miles NW of Avalon Bay. Offers an­chorage in about 8 fathoms and provides almost the same portection as found at Avalon, The beach in White Cove is known as White's Landing.

White's Landing houses The Catalina Experience. San Diego Yatch Club leases the on-shore facilities on the eastern end of the beach. Balboa Yacht Club leases the on-shore facilities at the western end of the beach. Newport Harbor Yacht Club leases facilities at Moonstone.
