Visit York Watergate, Victoria Embankment Gardens, London, England
The York Watergate marks the site of the original course of the Thames before the construction of the Thames Embankment in the mid-19th century. It was built around 1626 in the grounds of York House, as a kind of posh parking space for the Duke of Buckingham's boat.
