Visit Merriam Point Overview, Crater Lake National Park, Oregon
Merriam Point is the first lookout on the Crater Lake when you reach it from the North side. Merrriam Point, at the intersection of Rim Drive and the North Entrance road, offers some of the most beautiful views of the lake on the whole rim.
The view from Merriam Point iof Llao Rock s particularly striking due to its relative proximity. The massive size of the crater vent that let loose there before the final climatic eruption can truly be appreciated here.
