Join more the7 million people in 900 communities across the United States for March for Babies walk.This March of Dimes walkathongive hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The eventincludes 20,000 company and family teams as well as national sponsors, participate. The event has raised more than $1.7 billion since 1970. The distance of each walk range from 3 to 6.2 (10k) or more miles depending on which city you do the walk in. The March of Dimes's March for Babies, formerly WalkAmerica, began in 1970 as the first charitable walking event in the United States. The name was changed after the 2007 event. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies.
