The Fortress of Montepulciano is a fortified castle overlooking the town of Montepulciano and the surrounding Tuscan countryside.

Ancient Fortress of Montepulciano and allows access to a magnificent internal garden, with a panoramic view of the Temple of San Biagio and the Val di Chiana and the Val d'Orcia. A crystal floor allows you to admire the archaeological finds located underground.
The fortress has been destroyed and rebuilt several times over the centuries. It's now used as a cultural center where exhibitions and events are held.
