Wine Taste at Vinisterra, Valle De Guadalupe, Baja California
Guillermo Rodriguez Macouzet, and a group of friends, began bottling wine that they chose in the wine of the region for their rounds of the game of dominoes.
Guillermo then created Vinisterra winery in Valle De Guadalupe. In 2002 he formed a partnership with noted Swiss enologist Christoph Gartner who currently operates the Vinisterra vineyards.
There are three main labels: Domino, Macouzet and Cascabel/Pedregal.
The winery was founded in 2000 and produces 7000 cases/year.
