Located close to the Albanian border is the monastery built by St. Naum in 905. You can catch a boat to the monastery leaving in the morning from Ohrid port. Although the original monastery has burned down it was rebuilt in the 16thand 17thcenturies. Still it’s quite an impressive site to see and don’t be surprised if you see a few peacocks on the grounds.
