The flora is made of a diversity of trees including olive trees, lime trees, oak trees and pomegranate trees amongst several others. The fauna around Ouzoud includes the most easily observed sight of all, the Barbary ape, which is usually most likely seen at daybreak or about an hour before dusk when they come to drink from the river.
