Passengers should arrive 30 minutes before their booked trip begins in order to pick up their gear. Every passenger is provided with protective clothing; float suit and life jacket. There is also equipment for children ages one and up. The float suit is warm, however it is recommended that bring a hat and gloves. It is also best to wear sneakers or hiking shoes on the trip and not recommended to wear high heels or sandals.
First you will sail west of Heimaey were you will see the largest auk's head in the world, the cannon ball from the Turkish abduction in 1627 and the largest elephant head in the world in Dalfjall. You will also visit four sea caves, among them Klettshellir which is mostly known for its perfect acoustics and Kafhellir in the island Hæna. Of course you will sail by all the small islands which are inhabited by puffins, auks, fulmars, seagulls, eiders and seals during the summer time as well. We might even get lucky and see whales during our trip.
It is not recommend you to go on a trip if you have back problems or are pregnant as the boat is riding on waves and it can be bouncy.
We are truly looking forward for having a blast with you.
