1 night in desert from Agadir

Start your desert tour by visiting some Berber villages on the way while leaving Agadir. A quick stop at Tiznit town, then drive towards Legzira Beach, very known as one of the most picturesque beach in a Africa. After Lunch, we will drive to camel market, and then to the big sand dunes of El Borj. Spend the night in the nomades tentes.

DAY 1 : AGADIR - TIZNIT - LEGZIRA - EL BORJ

  Departure at 08:00 am from your hotel towards the south of Morocco, drive along the Atlantic coast to admire beautiful desert landscapes, and discover one of the most authentic fishing village of the region, consisting of troglodyte houses, antique small fishing boats... Once arrived at the park Sous Massa, the nature reserve which is home to many kind of migratory birds coming from Europe during the winter periods. Stop at the dam to admire the beautiful desert view, and continue in the direction of the famous town: Tiznit Medina; well known of Berber silver jewelry makers, then Sidi Ifni, (ex-Spanish colony), lunch at the local small restaurants (fish specialty, such as grilled sardines and others), after lunch, we drive towards a tiny town called the gate of the desert:

Guelmim; known of its weekly camel market.

At the end of the afternoon, we arrive at the oasis

Elborj; large palm grove of the region. After the visit, we head towards the camp in the sand dunes, riding camels. On the arrival, a cup of mint tea, along with patisery will be served, the traditional welcome, while admiring the sunset, and the beautiful lights, and colors of the desert on the golden sand dunes.

Once is getting dark, return to the camp for dinner under a beautiful sky full of stars, assisting at the same time the Sahara music played by young people from the region, around the wood fire.

To finish the evening, sleep in the nomade tents.

  DAY 2 : EL BORJ - TIGHMERT – AGADIR

  After breakfast, we head to join our car in the oasis, either with camels, or by a 4x4 car, depending on availability, taking at the same time the opportunity to discover the surroundings, such as prehistoric structures carved on rocks. After that we will drive to the Oasis of Tighmert, where we are supposed to have some lunch. After having our food, we drive back to Agadir through Anti Atlas montains. 

Arrival is usually scheduled around 06:00 in the evening.
