Stop At: Wadi el natrun Mosque, Alexandria Desert, Alexandria Governorate, Egypt

Your tour guide will meet you in your hotel in Cairo or Giza . From there you will be driven by modern air-conditioned vehicle to Wadi El-Natrun that will take approximately 2 hours. Wadi El-Natrun is home to a remaining 3 monasteries that have survived from the 50 monasteries that were previously in the area.

Start your trip with Deir al-Baramus which is the oldest of the surviving 3 monasteries, and in many ways the most isolated. Then proceed to Deir Anba Bishoi whose body is still in the monastery. You will end your trip with Deir El-Suryani which is the smallest and most compact of the 3 monasteries. There will be an optional stop for lunch before transferring back to your hotel in cairo or giza
